Should I replace gutters when I get a new roof?
- Not always. If hangers, pitch, and discharge still work, they can stay. Damaged or undersized gutters are often cheaper to replace while the roof edge is already open.
Why do my gutters overflow in heavy rain?
- Usually the trough is too small, there are too few downspouts, they are packed with debris, or they pitch toward the middle instead of the outlet.
